Virtual Reality in education

    Virtual Reality allow students to engage with educational content in a whole new way. They can travel to the Great Wall of China, explore the Titanic, bring a picture to life and create 3D artwork.
    In St. Cecilia’s College, Derry, Virtual Reality is integrated into careers lessons to provide an insight into job roles and prepare for the future, for example a surgeon.

    Capita in partnership with Avantis offers NI schools the opportunity to introduce Virtual Reality into the curriculum with Class VR, which comes complete with VR headsets, educational software and curriculum - linked activities and lesson plans, equipping teachers with everything they need to introduce this cutting edge technology straight into the classroom.
